Covid-19 update: 8 April 2021

From 19 April YCH Services for Young People youth work projects will resume in our young people’s centres.

All venues have been certified by Hertfordshire County Council as Covid-19 secure.

The Watford Access Point is open for one-to-one support. Please contact the team to make an appointment before visiting.

  • Stand Up Project 
    For black or mixed heritage young people aged 13-17.
    Every Monday, 6-8pm
  • 'Move It' Health Project
    For young people aged 13-17 with learning disabilities
    Every Monday, 6-8pm
  • Speak Up Youth Council 
    For young people aged 11–17 to have a voice in their community.
    Every Tuesday, 6-8pm
  • Starburst Project 
    For young adults aged 18-24 with learning disabilities.
    Every Tuesday, 7-9pm
  • Emotional Wellbeing Project 
    For young people aged 13-17 who would like support with their emotional wellbeing or are struggling with anxiety or low mood.
    Every Wednesday, 6-8pm
  • NHS Cadets 
    For young people aged 14-16 who are thinking about a career in the NHS.
    Every Wednesday, 5-7pm
  • Independent Living Skills Project
    For young people in care aged 13-17 who could benefit from learning life skills such as managing money, employability skills and cooking skills.
    Every Thursday 6.30pm-8.30pm
  • Girls and Young Women's Project 
    For young women aged 12-16 who live in the Watford area.
    Every Friday, 6-8pm
  • PACT LGBT+ Project
    For young people aged 13-17 who are in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community and those who are questioning their sexuality.
    Every Thursday, 4.30-6.30pm
  • Leavesden Green Youth Project
